Stripper Salary - How Much Money Does Strippers Make?
They keep asking me, "How much money do strippers make?" It varies from a good night to a bad night, but suppose a stripper has only an average of $ 200 a night. Change and operate 4 times a week. That's $ 800 / week or $ 40k per year. If you work 5 times a week, that's $ 1000 / week or $ 50k per year. When I first published this article in the fall of 2007, most of the strippers I knew had an average of $ 500 per head. Shifts and worked 4 shifts a week, resulting in a 6-digit business.
Some strippers are still making that kind of money (those who have taken a
deep creek strippers sales course are definitely doing it!) But most of the exotic dancers I know have had 20% or more success due to the slowdown in the economy.
I spent a good 2 hours researching Bell Curve Statistics for professional salaries. If you are not a statistician, let me explain. In this case, the bell curve measures the distribution of wages from the lowest 10th percentile, the middle 50th percentile, and the highest 90th percentile. The bell curve measures data more accurately than an average. The average is a poor measurement of the data because a very high or very low number can completely hide your average. (Postpone, postpone ... I was a math teacher, remember?)
All figures are in thousands of dollars except that M means millions.

I included baseball players because I am amazed at how these Junior League boys come into the Strip Club during spring training. They love to tell door staff that they should come for free because they are baseball players and they think girls should give them free dance because they are baseball players. The new girls eat it because they think they're sitting in the lap of the next Derek Jeter. Uh ... no ... the household boy earns only $ 2500 a month! Also, keep in mind that although newspapers report that the average baseball salary is 2 million, most of that money goes to top players like Bonds, Jeter, Sosa, etc. Most of the boys in the league earn $ 385K. It's not in bad shape ... but it's far from the "average" of 2 million.
